A very cheery plant - long lasting and prolific yellow flowers. Leaves are narrow. Plant forms a rounded mound. Can be dead-headed or cut back entirely mid-summer to extend blooming.

Bloom period: summer

Exposure: full sun

Moisture: dry to average; drought tolerant

Native Habitat: prairies and meadows

Wildlife: nectar attracts butterflies and bees
