Zig Zag Goldenrod

Zig Zag Goldenrod

C$6.00Price

Zig Zag Goldnerod (Solidago flexicaulis)

A garden-saver in dry shade. Zig Zag Goldenrod gets it's name from its angled stem, the way it zigs and zags, which is an interesting feature. Fairly unusual for a woodland plant, Zig Zag Goldenrod does not require much by way of nutrients or organic matter - no need to mulch either as it is adapted to dry conditions and will outcompete most weeds.

Height: 1-3ft

Bloom period: late summer to fall

Exposure: full shade to filtered light

Moisture: average to dry

Native Habitat: woodlands
